We produce and sell major chemical products used in oil and gas field exploration and distribution, oil field drilling, papermaking chemicals, wastewater processing and inorganic chemicals. Our chemical production subsidiary is constantly developing new products, focusing especially on increasing the utilization of bromine, to increase profits and help us towards our goal of becoming a chemical industry leader.
 
We have successfully developed and commenced production of environmentally friendly oil and gas exploration chemicals. The production process includes more sophisticated filters and purification techniques, generating a less harmful end product and less toxic residue.  An oil injection agent is the first commercialized product in our environmentally friendly product line.
 
Continuously improving the performance of our chemical products while reaching out to new growth markets, is important to us. In 2009, we upgraded our pesticide intermediate production line and in 2010 we opened a production line focusing on wastewater treatment chemical additives. The additives for wastewater treatment chemicals use bromine in their formulation, allowing us to utilize our bromine assets for internal production. We also engage in research and development of pharmaceutical intermediates which use bromine as a raw material.
